What is your greatest achievement?

Talking! When I was born my eardrums were not fully developed which caused me to get a number of sinus/ear infections which ultimately inhibited my ability to hear or speak. After several surgeries and multiple years of speech therapy, I was finally able to hear and slowly began to speak. Now some people say I talk too much!

What is your favorite hobby/what do you like to do in your free time?

My friends would tell you that my favorite thing in this world in bourbon. The process and history behind the spirit is so interesting and I’ve enjoyed many trips to distilleries across the country. I certainly don’t mind the taste either! My rule is to always buy 2 bottles at a time, one to enjoy now and a second to share with friends.

What is your “why” for being in the retirement plan industry?

Getting to work with individuals and their families as they transition through the various stages of their lives is one of the most rewarding feelings. Unlike other industries where work/projects are finite from start to finish, our jobs as advisors is continues since our clients’ lives are constantly changing. Being a part of that journey is incredible. That’s my why for being within the retirement planning industry.
