Strategic Retirement Partners’ Managing Director for Michigan, Chuck Langeland, is a veteran of the retirement plan industry with a time-tested track record and more than twenty years of experience under his belt. Prior to joining SRP, he had the opportunity to work in all aspects of the retirement plan industry, from record keeping and third-party administration to fiduciary investment advice. Through his different roles and experiences, Chuck has developed a deep understanding of the industry and how he can best support his clients, no matter their retirement needs or goals.

Chuck takes a consultative approach to retirement planning to establish best practices and assist employers in creating an efficient and cost-effective retirement program. His focus is on providing his clients with a full suite of consulting services to help retirement plan sponsors to manage their fiduciary responsibilities. Chuck then works with each fiduciary to identify their retirement plan objectives and utilizes a careful and well-documented process to help them design a plan to maximize participant outcomes.

Chuck earned his Bachelor of Science in Finance from Virginia Tech and is passionate about furthering his knowledge so he can continue to provide his clients with the highest quality services. He has completed a number of courses and certifications and is a Qualified 401(k) Administrator (QKA), Accredited Investment Fiduciary (AIF), and Certified Plan Fiduciary Advisor (CPFA).

Outside of work, Chuck loves spending time with his wife, Kim, and kids, Reese and Evan. He enjoys a wide variety of outdoor activities such as boating, golfing, skiing and snowboarding, as well as cheering on the Virginia Tech football team, Go Hokies!
