Retirement plans are on a six-year restatement cycle with the IRS, which means that every six years, plan sponsors require support restating their document. In some cycles, additional support will be required to keep up with changes from major legislation such as SECURE 2.0. This program will explore the basics of retirement plan documents along with the more advanced considerations for the upcoming restatement cycle to help retirement plan service providers and their plan sponsors be prepared for what’s to come.
