Gretchen has over eighteen years of experience in the retirement plan industry. She considers it a privilege to assist clients with the administration and understanding of their retirement plans. Gretchen's approach is to educate sponsors on the appropriate aspects of their plan so that they can create an ideal plan for their workforce. And then to continue that education and adapt the plan as needed so it can evolve and serve all of its participants for the long term.
Prior to joining Strategic Retirement Partners, Gretchen worked as a Senior Consultant assisting clients with strategic plan design and translating rules and laws for her clients. She has extensive experience with non-profit business, as well as for-profit business clients. In her prior role, she designed and updated Defined Contribution plans as well as Defined Benefit plans for plan sponsors.
Gretchen holds a Bachelor's degree from the University of Wisconsin as well as the QKA (Qualified 401(k) Administrator) and QPA (Qualified Pension Administrator) designations from ASPPA, the American Society of Pension Professionals and Actuaries. She is currently serving as the President of the Madison Benefits Council, a regional benefits consortium.
Gretchen lives in Madison, WI with her husband, son and daughter.
