Walsh Duffield’s Christopher Kempton and Lisa Petronio have joined forces with Strategic Retirement Partners, a national retirement plan consulting firm. The two currently manage Walsh Duffield’s retirement plan consulting business, and will continue servicing clients and growing the practice in the Upstate New York market.
With more than 25 years of experience, Kempton holds an MBA in Finance from Canisius College. Kempton has implemented over 200 retirement plans in the last 25 years. He serves on the board of directors for Clarence Industrial Development Agency and Schofield Residence. He is also an active United Way volunteer. In 2010, Kempton obtained his Certified 401(k) Professional designation from The Retirement Advisor University at UCLA. Kempton, his wife and four children reside in Clarence, New York.
Petronio, who has more than 8 years of industry experience and has worked with more than 100 plans, is a graduate of State University of New York at Buffalo and earned her Retirement Income Certified Professional® designation from The America College. She is a graduate of the 2016 Leadership Buffalo Rising program and gives back to the Buffalo and Western New York community through her membership with the Junior League of Buffalo and as Big Sister with Big Brothers Big Sisters of Erie County. Petronio serves on the Advisory Board for the Hamburg High School Academy of Finance and on the Ambassador Committee at Child & Family Services. She lives in Tonawanda, New York with her husband and two daughters.
